Sparkling fees, what you pay and when
Trading costs are rarely one number. There is the app's fee, the blockchain's fee, the market's fee and sometimes the payment provider's fee, and many apps fold them into the price so you never see the split. Sparkling shows each part on the card before you sign.
What you pay in Sparkling
| Cost | Who receives it | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Service fee | Sparkling | On each executed trade |
| Network fee | The blockchain’s validators | On swaps and transfers |
| Market fees and funding | Hyperliquid, Lighter or Polymarket | On perps and predictions |
| Payment provider fee | The card payment provider | On card top-ups |
| Account or subscription | Nobody | Never |
Swap fees
A swap costs our service fee plus the network fee of each chain involved. Network fees are tiny on Solana and TON, higher on Ethereum and variable on Bitcoin. Because quotes are compared across several liquidity sources, the rate itself reflects a comparison rather than one venue. How a quote is built is explained on our page about crypto swaps.
Perpetual futures costs
Perp orders through Sparkling are gasless. You pay the venue’s trading fee on Hyperliquid or Lighter, our service fee and funding while a position is open; funding can be paid or received depending on which side of the market you are on. The mechanics are on our page about perpetual futures.
Prediction market fees
Topping up the Predictions balance is gasless, as we cover the network cost. Polymarket charges a taker fee in many market categories, while some categories are fee-free; the card shows the fee for the specific market before you trade.
Card top-up costs
Paying by bank card goes through a supported payment provider, which charges its own fee and sets its own minimum. Your bank may add a foreign transaction or cash advance fee. Depositing crypto you already own avoids these costs and leaves only the network fee.
Why we show fees before you sign
A trade is only worth making if you know its full price. That is why the card in Sparkling trading app lists every cost line by line, and closing the card costs nothing. Fees can change; the card always shows the current ones.
