Polymarket

Polymarket in Sparkling, event trading from your trading account

Polymarket is where most of the world's prediction market volume trades. Using it directly means a separate wallet, bridging USDC and learning another interface. Sparkling is a verified Polymarket builder, so you can browse and trade its markets from the same account you use for swaps and perps.

What is Polymarket?

Polymarket is an on-chain prediction market running on Polygon. Each market is a question with a resolution rule; shares trade between users on an order book, and winning shares pay 1 USDC at resolution. The general mechanics of event contracts are on our page about prediction markets.

How does Polymarket work in Sparkling?

  1. Move USDC from your Sparkling account to your Predictions balance; we cover the gas for the top-up.
  2. Ask the agent for a market, for example “odds on the next Fed decision”, or browse in manual mode.
  3. Pick Yes or No and an amount; the card shows the price, the shares and the potential payout.
  4. Confirm. Sell any time before resolution, or collect the payout after it.

The Predictions balance is separate from the main account, so funds for events don’t mix with your trading balance. Topping it up with dollars is covered on our page on how to buy USDC.

Polymarket crypto markets

Besides news and politics, Polymarket lists crypto markets, including short Up or Down markets on BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and DOGE over windows from five minutes to a day. In Sparkling a request like “5 dollars on ETH up in the next 15 minutes” becomes a ready card.

Polymarket fees

Polymarket charges a taker fee on many market categories, including crypto, sports, finance and politics, while makers pay nothing and geopolitical markets are fee-free. Polymarket itself doesn’t charge for USDC deposits or withdrawals. In Sparkling, the exact cost of each trade, including our service fee, is on the card before you sign.

Can you make money on Polymarket?

Some traders do, usually by knowing a topic better than the market or by trading price moves before resolution. Many lose, because every share bought at a price reflects someone on the other side who disagrees. It is closer to trading than to a savings product, and nobody can promise a result.
